The Central Nervous System (CNS), which processes all incoming information, is comprehensively comprised of the:

the human brain as the highest and most complex coordinating centre of the body. Together with the spinal cord, it constitutes the Central Nervous System (CNS), which receives information from all parts of the body and integrates it. The brain is broadly divided into three major regions: the forebrain, midbrain, and hindbrain. The forebrain acts as the main thinking part, handling complex voluntary actions, interpreting sensory information from various receptors, and storing memories. In contrast, a multitude of involuntary actions are seamlessly controlled by the midbrain and hindbrain. Specifically, the medulla, a part of the hindbrain, manages vital involuntary functions such as blood pressure, salivation, and vomiting. Additionally, another hindbrain structure, the cerebellum, is responsible for the precision of voluntary actions and strictly maintaining body posture and overall equilibrium during activities like walking or riding a bicycle. This essentially means the CNS is formed exclusively by the combination of the highly protected brain and the spinal cord.
