Question
Schizocoelom is formed by
Explanation
Schizocoelom formation proceeds via splitting or secondary cavitation of solid mesodermal bands arising from embryonic 4d mesentoblast teloblast in spiralian protostomes. Mesodermal populations proliferate as paired ventrolateral masses that subsequently hollow forming sacs lined by peritoneum, expanding between gut and body wall creating coelom. Typical in annelids, molluscs and arthropods where teloblastic growth occurs. Outpocketing of archenteron produces enterocoelom, fusion of blastocoel or degeneration of mesoderm inaccurate models, schizocoely tightly linked to spiral determinate cleavage and ventral nerve cord development.
