Focuses on the circulatory system, including heart and blood vessels, and the excretory system, such as kidneys and bladder, in frogs.
The ventricle of the frog’s heart pumps mixed oxygenated and deoxygenated blood to the body.

The urinary bladder in frogs temporarily stores urine before it is expelled through the cloaca.

The hepatic portal system transports blood rich in nutrients from the intestine to the liver for metabolism.

Frogs are ureotelic, meaning they excrete urea as their primary nitrogenous waste, not ammonia.

The testes in male frogs produce sperm, which is transported through the urinogenital ducts.

The left atrium of the frog’s heart receives oxygenated blood from the lungs.

The urinary bladder stores urine temporarily before it is excreted through the cloaca.

The kidneys filter nitrogenous waste from the blood and help maintain osmoregulation.

The right atrium of the frog’s heart receives deoxygenated blood from the body through the vena cava.

Frogs have one ventricle and two atria, not two ventricles and one atrium.

The sinus venosus is a triangular structure that receives deoxygenated blood from the body and directs it to the right atrium.

The ventricle in frogs pumps mixed blood (both oxygenated and deoxygenated) to the body.
